About Me

Whether it was the exciting (and sparkling) figure skating costumes she wore for much of her childhood or the repressive uniforms she had to don for school, Kathryn Martin knew she loved looking and feeling unique. Fashion was a perfect outlet.

After years of working as a buyer for both a small chain and boutiques as well as in retail management, Kathryn decided it was time to pursue what she truly loves. With a great deal of experience in the private appointment setting where she had the chance to work one-on-one with a variety of clients, she wanted to focus exclusively on helping women address their individual needs based on lifestyle, body shape, and budget. As a stylist and personal shopper, her goal and greatest accomplishment is when her clients look and feel as confident as they are stylish. And, perhaps most importantly, Kathryn makes sure their look is unique.

Kathryn graduated from the College of William & Mary and lives with her husband, Josh, two wild and wonderful children, Pearl and Sam, and their dog, Ox, in Alexandria, Virginia. Her style philosophy is that fashion should always be fun, even when you are dressing seriously.  When she’s not shopping for clients or working on her blog, Milk.Bread.Fashion., Kathryn spends her time enjoying her very active family and figuring out ways to stay stylish at the playground.
